June saw the launch of our BT7885 Flat Screen Wall Mount with Pull-Down AV Storage Tray; a product that is now a finalist in the 2022 InAVation Awards in the AV Accessory category.

The BT7885 makes storing and operating AV equipment from behind a flat-screen monitor effortless. The flat screen mount features a pull-down tray that allows access to the stored equipment without the need to remove the screen first; additionally, the quick-release interface plate can be easily removed from the storage tray to quickly service or change AV equipment.

Following the release of the BT7885, during July we introduced the BT7549. A Rotational Flip Mount that allows screens from 19″ to 47″ to be easily rotated from landscape to portrait. This function, as previously seen on the BT7550 Rotational Mount for larger screens, allows tool-less adjustment of the screen orientation and enables the screen to be fixed at any angle from 0° – 90° with the use of an integrated angle guide.
 

The introduction of our latest range of Floor Stand Kits and Components in August gave customers 7 new off-the shelf floor stand solutions to choose from. In addition to this, hundreds of other possibilities are available thanks to the comprehensive selection of floor bases and components, which allow users to assemble a custom solution, utilising either Ø50mm poles or BT8381 Designer Columns. All options benefit from our new ultra low-profile bases, cable management and mounting options from VESA 50  up to 600 x 400.
 

2021 also saw the announcement of many new distribution partnerships for B-Tech, with the first of these being Midwich Australia Pty Ltd for ANZ at the start of the year. Since then, Midwich, a specialist trade-only audio-visual and IT distributor, have been successfully supplying orders of our award-winning AV mounting solutions throughout Australia and New Zealand.
 

In North America we were excited to reveal further expansion plans for our US operations and as part of those plans announced two new distribution partnerships serving the commercial AV channel. Almo Pro AV became the exclusive stocking distributor for the United States, and TD SYNNEX  the exclusive stocking distributor for Canada.

Almo has 5 regional distribution facilities across the country with over 2.5 million square feet of warehouse space, giving their customers access to critical solutions in little to no time.

Also during November, the Bendac Presents event was held at AFC Wimbledon's impressive Cherry Red Records Stadium at Plough Lane in London. The event welcomed manufacturers and service providers from display, broadcasting, CMS, VP-XR and audio industries to demonstrate their technologies to an exclusive invitation only audience.

In addition to all of the great leads gained, it was also a wonderful opportunity to show off the many B-Tech installs throughout the stadium; in the concourse, corporate boxes, the club shop, the in-house Phoenix pub and hospitality areas.
